Hello all,
The issue I'm trying to fix, is that in Excel, the worksheet window (all the cells) will turn white while I'm typing in a formula (but the cells will restore if I scroll the sheet). It frequently happens. To fix this issue, I believe the solution is to disable hardware acceleration in Excel (or for Office).
There is no "Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration" setting for Office 2021 programs. There is a similar thread in the forum, however the original poster was using Office 365 (I'm using Office 2021), and his "fix" (leaving beta channels) doesn't apply to me. There is a post at the end, where someone was able to edit "DisableHardwareAcceleration" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Graphics", however in my registry there is no "Graphics" subfolder.
Notes: Windows (Win 11 Pro) and Graphic drivers (AMD Radeon RX series) are up-to-date. I would rather not disable hardware acceleration for all of Windows in order to fix this issue.
Does anybody have a solution, or advice?
Thanks in advance!
