Greetings. First time poster, rookie VBA programmer and long time Excel user.
I am trying to write a rather long and sophisticated macro to automate my day-to-day work.
I work with relatively large datasets that are always in the same layout. The inclusion of duplicate data in one column is the final problem to which the solution eludes me. Basically I need a block of code that will find any duplicate entries in one column, then check to see if the rest of the row contains the same data (except in one column), if any differences occur then it will delete both rows, if all data matches (except for cell L) then it will delete the row that has the higher value in cell L, and finally if both records are totally identical then it deletes just one of the 2 records.
Sorry for the rather confused articulation of this post.
Thanks for reading and even bigger thanks for any help.
