Hello everyone, I have 10 years worth of daily data in my excel work book (linked). I would like to create a dashboard with different metrics (Year to date sales, month to date sales, Year to date costs, Month to date costs, Cost over 5 years, 10 years etc - all the data i have is by day for the last 10 years).

I really dont know where to begin. Is there a book i can use to get started ? or a useful website with examples i can learn from.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!
Sidargo.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
You could check out the excel dashboard software at exceldashboard.org

One of the tutorial explains how to build the date parameters and build yearly, monthly or quarterly view.

For e.g check the Expense and Sales metrics dashboard using Excel data
