Hello, I am new to the forum and a basic user of Excel. I am modifying a real estate spreadsheet I got online that analyzes the feasibility of potential rental properties. In the spreadsheet, you can enter the purchase price (E3) and specify the down payment percentage (I3) which returns the down payment amount (I5). I would like the down payment percentage and the down payment amount to be reciprocal (I think that is what it is called). In other words, you can enter either the percentage (which will return the down payment amount), or enter the down payment amount and it will return the percentage. How can this be done? I have had no luck searching online. Any help is much appreciated!!
