How to create RADAR looking charts, not exactly RADAR chart Type

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Hi,

I am not sure how much this helps but it looks as if it is made up of Block Arcs. This can be found from the Insert-->Insert Shapes-->Basic Shapes menu (in Excel 2013).

A 3D effect is then applied to give the rounded over look. When you do that it also chamfers the ends of the arcs just like your picture.

You could make one like that manually. If you want to to be more general then a lot more work will be required.

There may well be one available on the web if you look hard enough. Although, if you settled for just 8 sectors and integer numbers as in your picture then it would make a nice little VBA project.

Hi Rick,

Actually it is a dynamic chart. Based on the Input it automatically recreates itself. No VBA or ActiveX object was present.

I wonder how the chart was prepared in such a way. I have tried to check in Google :) also.

I could use this chart in Excel 2010 (as i dont have 2013)
