I have two pivot tables that are pulling inventory data from two different periods of time. I am always asked what is the delta between the two periods, and the only way I have been able to do this is to manually create a "table" that simply subtracts one cell from the top pivot table from the bottom pivot table. I have to do this for each cell, as when I try and copy the formula down, it just puts the same value as in the first cell. The other issue is that both these pivot tables change as the data changes (some products become older, so fall into another aging category), so I have to constantly add or delete rows manually in the "delta" table. Is there a way to create a pivot table that looks at the aging category and product category in the top and bottom pivot tables and gives me the difference between the two? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated! Snip of the pivot table sheet attached.

Is all the data for both PivotTables coming from the same table? If so, have you tried the "Difference from" calculation for the periods?

Hi, Vogateer, thanks for replying to my question. No, the data tables are not from the same source. I have to download a report out of SAP each week and so the data changes as items are sold and/or added. So the first pivot table is pulling from the current week's report, and the data from the second pivot table is pulling from the previous week's report. So what they want to know is, what changed from last week to this week, on a product category and aging category basis. Hope this helps!
