I need to create charts like this for each priceband. my questions :

1. how to show % on both vertical axis?
2. how to make both areas overlap so that when these areas combined, it shows the total share of that particular category ?

I m using Mac - would appreciate if someone could show me how to do this on Mac version excel.

:)

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Hi,

Re. 2: Select a 2D Stacked Area Chart and set Crystal and Non-crystal Jewellery as separate Data Series. Mac Excel shouldn't be any different from the Windows version in this regard. Search "Chart" in Excel Help for step by step instructions on how to produce charts. Writing out the steps in this post would be too long winded.
Re. 1: Showing the same % range at both sides of the chart is possible but it's more trouble than it's worth. If someone is demanding this of you tell them it's bad practice. See "The Visual Display of Quantitative Information" by Edward R. Tufte.
