I am trying to convert an 11 page Pdf document to excel and have the formatting work correctly. If anyone knows of an easy way to do this I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Beth

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Correctly is a matter of perception I guess.

If you have Adobe Acrobat, not reader, then you might be able to do it. If you can do it manually, we could automate it.

There is no built-in feature within Excel that can do what you want. Depending on how important this project is to you, you might want to consider some 3rd party software options that have a lot of enhanced options. You can google it - there's plenty of software options out there. I will tell you though that most (if not all) will be commercial software -- in another words, not free. So if you want something "free" that works correctly - you might have to do some hard digging in the dark corners of the internet.

EDIT: I agree with Kenneth's response above, Adobe Acrobat is a good (great) option but a single user license can be a bit pricey.
