I want BOLD RED font for the entire row if the date in ColA is greater than today's date, else "no bold & black". How do I do that?

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Select the rows you want to apply this to (note: bs sure you are selecting the ENTIRE row, and not just a single column in the rows), and then use the following Conditional Formatting formula.
For this example, let's assume that row 2 is the first row in our selection:
Code:
=$A2 > TODAY()
and then choose your bold and red formatting.
