How to compare and highlight differences in 2 spreadsheets?

MS Word has a built in feature. Does MS Excel also have such a built in feature? If yes, where?

If no, I see there exists third-party software add-ins that display and highlight the differences when comparing 2 spreadsheets. Which would be a good and free one?
