how to clear Table names, that no longer exits but its name does

Hi,
I have been trying to get rid of the table names that seem to be existing, in excel's memory but i cannot locate or find them in that file. How can i get rid of all these previously named taebls and be able to reuse those names again?

your help is greatly appreciated!

Excel Facts

have you checked name manager?
win shortcut; Alt I N D
Mac shortcut; md+Fn+F3

also any data connections?

i tried ctrl+F3 shortcut for name manager but dont see any tables listed in it. But when used ctrl+G... i see couple of tables listed in it, but cannot go to it.
