I converted an Excel spreadsheet to the open source LibreOffice and Open Office. As a result, it changed many of the fill colors from clear/white to red. I did not want this to happen. Now I am back to using MS Excel 2013. How can I easily change the fill color red back to fill color white, without having to do it manually, for the thousands of cells that were changed to red? I am a beginning to intermediate skill level user of Excel.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Try:
Code:
 Sub Test()
    ActiveSheet.Cells.Interior.ColorIndex = xlNone
End Sub

This is a macro and there are several ways that you can execute it. Do the following: Hold down the ALT key and press the F11 key. This will open the Visual Basic Editor. In the menu at the top click 'Insert' and then click 'Module'. Copy and paste the macro in the empty code module that opens up. Press the F5 key to run the macro. Close the code module window to return to your sheet. There are other quicker ways to run the macro such as assigning it to a button that you would click on your sheet or assigning it to a short cut key.
