I previously responded to an old message earlier today and Mark858 gave me a way to solve the problem, and it stated I was not to respond to that message but come here to the board, but I can't find that message, so I will start again. How do you change the color of a comment. I am currently using red and I want to go back to black or maybe another color. Mark858 took a picture of the File/Option in 365 and then Editor you can change it. My problem is in my MS 365 there is no Editor listed under File/Option. I went through all the Tabs listed and there is a Comment tab, but I can't activate it. Thanks for anyone who can help.

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Your original post is below

no Editor listed under File/Option

You are looking in the wrong place you should be looking in the VB editor window then under the Tools tab (as Rick stated)

Solution
I am not sure you on about the same thing as Rick is (and I am). Rick is talking about changing the comments in the VBA code, I get the feeling you are talking about regular comment boxes on a worksheet.

To help clarify , are you talking about ..

1. This type of comment in vba (macro) code?

2. Or this type of comment in a worksheet cell?

3. Or this type of comment (now called a Note) in a worksheet cell?

4. Or something else?

Well, shucks, it was staring at me in my face, and I changed it many years ago from black to red. I guess I'm getting too old. Thanks Mark858

You're welcome (btw if it is the comments you would have changed it from Green to Red, as Green is the default)
