how to cancel "Go Advanced" reply?

When I compose a Quick Reply, there is a Cancel button.

But after I click on Go Advanced, I do not see a Cancel button.

I "cancel" by closing the Go Advanced window.

But that does not leave me in the same state that the Cancel button does.

Am overlooking something?

PS: I just realized there also is no Cancel button when composing a Post New Thread. Again, I can just close the window. But I don't believe that would leaves me in the same state as if I had clicked on Submit New Thread. I can work around this by right-clicking and clicking on Open In New Window.

Generally, this forum's UI is excellent. So I feel I am overlooking something "obvious".

PPS: I am using Firefox 19, if that makes a difference.

In the line above the top left "Reply to Thread" (it is below MrExcel title) is the structure of links like this:
Forum > Other Forums > About This Board > how to cancel "Go Advanced" reply? > Reply to Thread

Click on the link with name of thread (how to cancel "Go Advanced" reply? - in this case) to cancel editing in Advanced mode.

BTW, not sure why Cancel button is not present
