When a new Excel file is being opened, is there any way to avoid the enable/disable macro dialogue box, from being shown.
I want the macro's to be enabled, without the user having any choice.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

So does every virus creator!

Convert your code into an add-in, (optionally sign the code), and have the user install the add-in (and if signed, optionally, flag you as a 'trusted' source).

This topic has been discussed dozens of times on this board. What you can do is click on the Search link, type in keywords "enable" and "macro" (without the quotes), select the "Search for ALL of the terms" options, and peruse the threads.

If/When you do, you will see that there are options, and ramifications to those options. That is why an answer for "an easier way" is not as simple as it might appear.

Think this issue through after you learn more about it, because setting Macro Security options to Low is risky. Then you might conclude that the answer you received from tusharm may well be the best way to go.
