How to auto filter locked cells on a protected sheet??

I have a workbook that has many columns (A to BH). All of the cells from A3:BG2383 are locked and the whole column BH3:BH2383 is unlocked ( I need people to input info there).

Is there a way that I can protect every cell except for the cells in column BH but still be able to filter and have users input data into BH? I've tried letting "all users access" selecting locked cells, selecting unlock cells, I let them be able to format rows and columns, and sort and auto filter BUT the auto filter never works??

I need them to be able to see the formulas in the locked cells so that's why I let them able to click on them. But I can't find a way to auto filter this information??
Any help would be great! Thanks everyone

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Turn on Auto Filter before locking the sheet.
When locking the sheet make sure "Sort" and "Use Auto Filter" are checked in addition to whatever you are already checking

Hope this helps
