How to apply ISNUMBER to range?

Hello. I'm trying to use the Isnumber function to verify data on a given table, but it does not work on a range of cells. More precisely, i have a table with data and i must make a verification cell where if the values of the data table are negative or non numeric i get a message saying error or something similar. What do i do? Thank you in advance.
