Hi, probably this question has been answered before but I couldn't find an answer yet. I want to import a text file to my excel sheet. I tried with get data and transform (query). I managed to get the text in the form and shape I wanted. But whenever I right click it doesn't give me the "edit text import" option that will allow me to import another version of the file... This option is crucial for my project. I'd really appreciate some help here. Thanks.

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
But whenever I right click it doesn't give me the "edit text import" option that will allow me to import another version of the file.
Where did you see such an option?
And how do you distinguish the other file version? Does it have a different file name?

Hi, thanks for your help. I finally found a solution, I had to activate a legacy option that was removed by Microsoft in the latest version of Excel in Get Data menu option.
