Hi guys, I am trying to add a character/code into certain cells for formulas in other columns to use, but not show the character/code when printing, to avoid confusion. Is there any way to do this without causing issues? Thank you!

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Formulas don't print unless you have View Formulas option active.

Sorry I should have explained it better. I want the cell to print like "Sample Text" but appear in the cell as something like "Sample Text †" or some kind of character for me to use in a formula. I'm using the "†" as an identifier to count a cell as 2.
