I saw the new Python function is added to Excel since August 2024. How effective do you think this new feature is?
I always prefer macro-free excel. I was happy at first when LAMBDA feature was released, such revolutionary. I used it for many custom functions. Then I realize it slows down my heavy computation excel, so I now use it only when really necessary. The one-continuous-line syntax limitation is also inconvenient to read/edit.

The Python feature seems revolutionary: creating custom functions, multi-line syntax, calling external libraries, computations done by Microsoft Clouds. Just wow.
What else we can do? Any drawback? Maybe this feature needs another sub-forum? What do you guys think?
