How do you show the last 7 days in a Pivot Table using the Date Filter

Hi -

I've done some research and tried recording a few macros, but haven't had any luck getting the Date filter in a Pivot Table to show the last 7 days worth of data. (I don't want to show "This Week" or "Last Week" - just the last 7 days).

I have seen a solution where you move the Date field into the Column area of a pivot, combined with a macro, so that excel thinks it's a value. But, that seems a bit hacky and more importantly I'd like to (and probably need) to keep the Date field in the Row Column area due to the type of pivot tables I'm building.

Here's a pic below.

Any help is appreciated!

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
No because if it's a Friday, then it will show last week's figures, when the more important figures are the last 7 days.
