How do you delete post?

im new and posted something 2 times on accident. How do i delete once i select the edit/delete link?
Did i miss this in the FAQ or am i not seeing what is right in front of me?

You can edit your posts within 10 minutes of posting. You cannot delete your posts.

I have removed the duplicate. To report duplicate posts please use the Report button to alert the moderators.
