How do you call a UDF from a hyperlink function by simply hovering over a cell?

Spawned from this thread. I could not find anything on the web, so I figured I would create a new thread for my own sake and for anyone else who might have the same question.
I am curious as to how I can call a User Defined Function by hovering over a cell that contains a HYPERLINK function in it. Not clicking the cell, but hovering.
