How do u get the value in a specific row, but in the current column?

Hi I'm a beginner with VBA,
now I want to select a something on a row, in this case row 2.
But the row where my ActiveCell is varies, so I can't do Offset(-10).
Also the column is different every time so I can't just get one range.

I'm a bit confused, maybe some of you can give me a hint what to look at?

Sheet SelectionChange event returns the target of the selected cell if you are selecting only one cell (which if you test for target, it will return the target value). So you can test for Target.Address to get the fixed cell address or you can test for Target.Row to get the row number, or test for Target.Column to get the column number. If you select a range of cells, I don't think that will give you what you need. HTH.
