What formula can I write to enter a value in to the "Input Cell" (D4),

and: Successively update a cell in the Cell Range (A6:G6)

In the example below, the 9/4 entry updated to the 4.73. The next entry will update the 9/5 cell and leave all previous entries unchanged.

Thank-you very much.

Input Cell _4.73___

DATE: 9/1 9/2 9/3 9/4 9/5 9/6

PRICE: 4.14 4.53 4.68 4.73

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
I apologize, the spacing did not maintain, date and price do not line up as they should
PRICE: A6
4.14 : B6
4.53 : C6
4.68 : D6
4.73 : E6
