Can anyone tell me a simple way to suprress/block/turn off that annoying message that warns me when I am about to merge two or more cells with data in them that only the upper left data will be retained?

That message is slowing down my work sooooooo much!!!!

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
I'd go with Paddy,
I don't use merged cells as a rule, they're messy.
If you need data to be across several columns

Right Click>Format Cells>Alignment>Centre Across Selection (From the Horizontal Combo Box)
