How do i stop cells from expanding like this

sometimes when i copy and pase a link into a table cell the link stays in a line like this
but then sometimes it expands the entire cell like this which is not what i want. How do i stop that from happening.

Turn "Wrap Text" on for the cell containing the overflowing hyperlink.

Another quick fix is just type a blank in the adjacent column and copy it all the way down. That's what I do!

Don't think that will ix "wrap text"

wrap text didn't work for me. The column/row stays of the same size even after using wrap text that is why i proposed this second solution.
