How do I restart the autonumber field

I was wondering how to start autonumber from 1 again. I have a table and I deleted the records out of it but autonumber is still on the last record that was there ex. 24 I want to reset autonumber to 1. Can anyone help me out?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

Works fine for me using Access 2003. Have you definitely deleted ALL records from the table? Also, which version of Access are you using?
