Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
The answer is yes depending on the structure of your spreadsheet. if your spreadsheet is organized as a proper datalist(each row is a record), then the spreadsheet can be linked to an access database (or imported). Since you've never used access, it is difficult to instruct you fully on how to make it all work.

If you link to Excel the changes are dynamic, changes in Excel will update in Access and vice/versa. But the data will remain stored in Excel (unless you update it to another table in Access).

If you import the excel data it will exist in an Access table.

Your going to have to read up on Access because there are going to be many things to take into account, depending on how you want to manage your data.
