How Do I Display Lambda Definition?

I have some lambda functions defined in the name manger. Is there a way to list the content of a lambda function in a sheet, just for reference? It is nice to see the full lambda function to study as the name manger is not optimal for viewing lambdas.

For example, I named lambda, "fn", which is defined as "=LAMBDA(x, x+1)". I would like to put in a cell "=fn" and have it just display "LAMBDA(x, x+1)". If I do that now I get "#CALC".

Thanks,

Mike

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
A quick way might be to open the name manager and put a ' before the formula, then =fn will display your formula.

To undo this you would then go back to the formula in the name manager and remove the ="' from the beginning and then remove the " from the end.

You get the same result by deleting the = sign, the undo method is mostly the same except you would remove the " from the beginning and end.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was hoping for way that would dynamically change it on the cell after the lambda function was changed.

This is probably out of Excel's feature set.
