How do I create a slicer on a Dax measure

Hi I'm not sure if this is possible.

I have a SALES table and I've created a measure for the last date the item was sold.

What i want to do now is get a slicer so i can see all items that the last time sold was last month or another date I've selected.

Slicers can't be based on a measure. Has to be an existing column in the data model.
