I have an excel worksheet which column "K" is where i put a value in cells K19 down to K200.

every cell in K19 through K200 is summing up the total values in its individual row..meaning the formula in cell K19 is SUM=(O19:NQ19)

I put a "conditional format" in K19 that basically states: if the value of K19 is greater than the value in D19 then turn the cell K19 red.

The condition works once tested but how do I copy just the condition down through K20 through K200?

I did a copy/paste special then chose "All merging conditional formats" and it did not work. If i put a value that is lower than the value of column D the cell turns red.

If i do simple copy/paste is still doesn't work.

I have thousands of cells to put this conditional format in...for this post i am just referring to one work sheet but i have multiple worksheets i will do this conditional format to.

Easiest way is:
1. Select K19:K200 first
2. Then got to Home>Conditional Formatting>Use a Formula
3. Formula is: =$K19>$D19
4. Choose your format and click OK
Using the relative row reference in the formula ensures that all the selected cells will be conditionally formatted, taking their row numbers into account.

3. Formula is: =$K10>$D19
4. Choose your format and click OK
