Hi! I am very new with excel.
I need to convert my currency to a text in the column after my number. It looks like it should be as simple as =TEXT(D264), however that is throwing an error.
After researching, it looks like i need a to create a Macro, but like i said, I am very new to this so I do not know how to do so.

TYIA!

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
You need to specify the format like
Excel Formula:
=TEXT(D264,"$#,##0.00")

That's what I thought you wanted. If not what do you want?

I need the text to display in the next column beside the number.
For example my number would be $208,000.00. I want "Two Hundred Eight Thousand" to show in the next column

do you mean something like $1.43 = one dollar and forty-three cents?
