Hi,

I am trying to compare 2 columns in Excel one contains numbers and the other contains a vlookup formula that returns a number. When I try to compare the 2 columns using the IF statement it doesn't recognise the vlookup column as a number and produces the wrong result. Is it possible in Excel to treat the vlookup column as numbers so that the IF comparison will work?

Thanks very much
