How do I change the width of some cells in a row but not all of them?

For example, I have the cells in Row 1, Columns A, B, C, and D as 1" by 1" . What I am looking for is to have the cells in Row 1, Columns A, B, C, and D bet set as 1" by 1 but the cells in Row 1 Columns G and H to remain the default Excel size. Can this be done?

Hello AdamW328,

Whenever you adjust a column's width, it will change in all rows. Conversely, changing a row's height will affect all columns the same.

You can have different widths in the same row quite easily - just amend the column widths as desired. If you want different heights in the same row, you'd have to merge cells, which is not something I would generally recommend.
