What strategy has best suited you in the development of your skills with VBA. Whether it's Access, Excel whatever. For me it has been a really slow process focusing on the VBE itself and then learning the syntax and how the logic actually works. I find projects at work teach me the best due to the nature of the request (time sensitive). However at home when I do some home labbing and coding it seems to help unlock some knowledge areas. Before I was just absolutely terrible now I can copy files using do while loops and save files using data within in the dataset. Mostly what I have done is automate reports or build templates off of large datasets. It's been fun and now I have really scoped into one thing which is VBA. This forum has helped out tremendously and is partially why I continue on my path to get better. I'm not "naturally" gifted in development but the passion is there and the results are priceless.
