How can you get Power BI to just display what's in a cell?

I am not sure if PBI is converting my data or something? I often see "We couldn't convert to Number" for data that has Yes / No (or blank) in a cell.

How do I stop this conversion? Can I just tell PBI to read what's in the cell regardless of what data is in there?

Banging my head against the table with it ?

Thanks.

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Hey Micky,

Could you provide more details? Do you see this message in one of your DAX measures/columns? If yes, could you provide us with the formula?
Or does it happen when you're trying to sort/filter the columns?

Hello Justyna - thanks for the quick reply.

I need to look into what DAX is - I've only discovered Power BI in the past week and, for the most part, it looks like it's doing what I want it to do. However these errors are popping up for some data.

Let me get more detail and I'll post it.

Thanks again

No worries at all. DAX is a formula language that you use when you use "New measure", "New column" or "New table" option in PowerBI desktop.
If you post a screenshot of your PowerBi window once this error pops up, and explain one/two actions you performed before this error appeared, I'll be probably able to guide you in the right direction :)
