How can my sheet show duplicates of the same number

I have this colum with information:

908
34
89
908

How can I have excel show me how many duplicates of the same number (such as 908 in my example) are in this colum and maybe show me which ones are?

The problem is that is a long list, and I would need to program each possible number right?

COUNTIF(A1:A1000,A1) + COUNTIF(A1:A1000,A2) ETC RIGHT?

assuming you numbers are in Column A,
in B1 =COUNTIF(A:A,A1)

then fill down,

you could also create a pivot table to count them.
