I have Excel2016 and I've created a stock market excel sheet that tracks stocks prices, etc using the new "Stock Data Types" feature, super cool! To see the latest stock data I have to manually press the Refresh All button which while simple is starting to become an annoying routine. What is the simplest approach and step by step instructions to have a function that Automatically presses the "Refresh All" on my behalf at my chosen interval? I realize your instructions will be Macro and/or VBA in nature which I am ready to follow your instructions (I'm IT and analytic trained). Please assist, thank you very much!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
This will refresh the book every 5 mins. And run when the book opens

VBA Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()

DoEvents

Application.Wait (Now + TimeValue("0:05:00"))

ThisWorkbook.RefreshAll

End Sub

Needs to go in the 'ThisWorkbook" module
