I have a pivot table in Excel 2013/Office 7 that is calculating a change in our operating income from year-to-year and showing the difference as a percentage. In my Value Field Settings it is:
*Show Value as a % Difference, Base Field is Fiscal Year and Base Item is Previous Year.
In the Pivot table result I have the following:
2014 ($9,602)
2015 $98,277 -1123.54%
I want this to display as a positive % and not negative. The result doesn't display right if you have one or both of the two numbers as negative values. When I go into calculated field and try using the ABS formula I use in a normal excel cell:
=ABS(ops income), the number changes because it does the absolute value of each total in the calculation. I want it to do the calculation first and then display the absolute value of that result.
