hourly bar graph

Need to make a (daily) hourly bar graph for my work schedule.
The data part would be the name, starting time, ending time. I work like to select a horizontal bar graph view as in the image to produce this graph.

G'day Craig,

One way is to use a stacked bar chart with the data in the order you have given - name, start, finish.

Once you have the chart created, select the left part of a bar which should put the corner handles on the entire 'start' series, and then right click and format all those bars to have no fill and no border, this will leave only the right part of the bar displayed, as per your example.

Format the horizontal axis to suit you desired start time and you are done.

Note that the chart may reverse your row order, with the first name appearing closest to the bottom of the chart and the last name at the top.
