I hope I am posting this question or in the correct part of the forum. I am having a problem with the HMTL Pagemaker, downloaded from Colo's web site.

I have it installed and it shows up as an Add in, the Add in box is checked, but when Excel launches, a dialogue box opens, VB Project is not a trusted site. And, the HMTL icon does not appear on the tool bar.

Is there anything more that I should do to get this HMTL pagemaker to work? Thanks for any information.

Mike

You have to make a change in the macro security settings. Check the FAQ. (there is a link to it in my signature below)

Edit: Now that I look at it again, it is not under a heading of the error you describe.

What you're looking for is this:
Error: "Error Number: 91, Object Variable or with Block variable not set..."
Click OK to close the dialog box with the error and go to Tools->Macros->Security. Click the Trusted Sources tab and check the box next to "trust access to Visual Basic Project," and click OK.

What is the exact text of the message you are getting? I can add it to the FAQ.

Kristy,

"Access to the VB Project is not Trusted" . I made the change to the Macro security to include VG as a trusted source. The good news is the error message no longer pops up. But, I still do not get the HMTL pagemaker tool on the menu bar.

Did you install the HTML Maker or the VB HTML Maker? Edit: Or anything else for that matter? The name of the addin should be "HTML Maker Lite" or "HTML Maker 2.42" or some other version number. If you have anything else, you probably downloaded the wrong addin. Colo has several on his page. The information I have in the FAQ is for the "HTML Maker"

Kristy,

I screwed up and had our IT administrator download the wrong application, even though your instructions and warnings were clear. On Monday, I will try again. Thanks.
