Highlighting columns based on text from a cell

Hi,

I'm trying to highlight columns that have a specific text in a row( =F$6 ="text") and it "works" but the cell with the text is 5 cells united while the ones below are separated so the when the cells below get highlighted, only the leftmost column is affected.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

What do you mean by " the cell with the text is 5 cells united"? Are you saying that the 5 cells are merged? Do you want to highlight the whole column or just the cell with the word "text"? It would help if you could post a screen shot of what your data looks like? Once you do that, mark it for 'Sharing' and you will be given a link to the file that you can post here. Include a detailed explanation of what you would like to do referring to specific cells, rows, columns and worksheets. If the workbook contains confidential information, you could replace it with generic data.
