Hi,

How can I write a formula to highlight rows C-E , if they contain values in column N.

I cannot use 'Conditional Formatting' as I have many values in column N.

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Re: Help needed for highlight rows based on values

"highlight rows C-E"... Aren't C-E Columns?

Are you looking for particular values or just any value?
If any value, you CAN use Conditional Formatting, and it is pretty easy, i.e.
Code:
=$N1<>""

Did you see my reply? It should do that.
Simply select columns C through E in all the rows you want this to apply to, and enter the Conditional Formatting formula as it applies to the first row in your selection.
So, if you select range C3:E100, the Conditional Formatting formula you would use is:
Code:
=$N[COLOR=#ff0000]3[/COLOR]<>""
