Hi
I highlighted multiple cells, then I entered a simple formula in the first cell (light color cell) and pressed ctr+enter, so I can copy the same formula over all cells. It did work fine. Now If I want to change/edit the formula in the first cell (which was light color), how can I do the same trick to update all other cells?

Thank you.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi lezawang,

Not sure I fully understand your question as it should work the same way:
  1. Select all the cells that should have the updated formula (even if they already have formulas inside them).
  2. Enter the corrected formula (this will change the "first"/active cell.
  3. Press Ctrl + Enter to update all formulas in the selected range.
Hope this helps,
Bernd

Thanks, now after that update.. let say you want to go to the first cell and only modify some part of that fuction, lets say the function was sum(a1,b1) and you want to modify b1 to b2. so i click on that function and edit b1 to b2 (without re-typing the whole function) now how can that populate to other cells? thank you so much.
