I am attempting to create a spreadsheet that will help to track the period of expiration of a number of items. And, because it's been a long, long, long time since I've used Excel, I am lost! I've tried following the tutorials on-line, but just can't seem to make it work for me.

What I need specifically is for each expired item to turn a specific color when it is expired at points of 30, 60 and 90 days. Unexpired dates would go unchanged.

I have a list of names in column one, and then 6 other columns where dates will appear. It is in those columns where the dates will appear that I need the highlights to happen. I wish I could provide an example, but I'm not sure how to do so here. Please help.

What I've posted below is the result of failed attempts at conditional formatting (essentially a giving up trying). http://file:///C:/Users/Tracey's/Documents/ADT%20Stuff/EXPIRABLE%20DOCS.pdf

Thanks in advance.
