Highlight Cells based on Separate Field Data

Hello,

I am trying to determine how I can have a header field highlighted based on the data in a different field. For example, if I have a spreadsheet as follows:

A1 Code B1 First Name C1 Last Name D1 Year
A2 ABC or BCD
A3 BCD
A4 CDE
A5 ABC

How can I have field B1 highlight if A2 = ABC? Or have D1 highlight if A2 = ABC or BCD?

Any help would be appreciated.
