I made an Excel spreadsheet for my mom that contains a list of 450+ song lyrics and chords she has on her computer. She is 70 years old and still strums the guitar. :) I told her how to use the search function to find various songs but when Excel highlights the cell it is barely noticeable to her which cell is highlighted. I would like her to be able to search without using Macros, but if it would be possible to, in some cell in row 1, type in either an artist or part of a song title and have it jump to the correct cell and temporarily highlight that cell bright yellow or something? In the spreadsheet, Artists' names are in column C and song titles are in column D. I'm not sure if what I'm asking is even possible, so if you have an alternate solution that makes sense, that would be appreciated as well. I and my mom thank you for any help you can provide.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Easiest Solution would be to select all the cells using CTRL + A , then use the CTRL + F to find the songs . it will then highlight much better.
