Highest number out of demand or planned volume.

Hello all, I have two cells in C1 and C2 with values totalling 15. I have another two cells in F1 and F2 totalling 30.

What I'd like to do is create a formula that will look at the above values and always gives me the highest number?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try:

=MAX(C1+C2,F1+F2)
