Hiding and revealing Scroll Bar (Form Control)

I'm trying to create a worksheet for my students to practice locating the position of a fraction on a number line

I am using a scroll bar (Form control) for the students to drag the "marker" to the correct position under a number line
I have a second scroll bar below that one that shows the correct position

Obviously I don't want the students to see that one UNTIL they have tried to position the marker (top scroll bar) themselves
I have a button called "CHECK ANSWER" that I want the students to click to reveal the hidden Answer scroll bar
Problem is I know nothing about writing VBA - at my best I can record a simple macro!!

I have another button called "NEW NUMBER" which I have assigned a macro to.
It basically
* unprotects the worksheet
* resets to the student scrollbar to zero
* copies the VALUES ONLY of a randomly generated fraction to another set of cells
* protects the sheet

What I need it to add a step just after unprotecting the worksheet to hide the answer scroll bar

I will be hiding the columns AB:AE in the final worksheet
I'm using Excel 2016 but it has to be able to run on Excel 2010 that we have at school

It might seem like a little bit of code to you but, I can assure you it means a great deal to me.
I can now create activities of different degrees of difficulty for the students.
I'm certain it will increase their understanding and concept of fraction size ... so you have not only helped me but helped many students this year and in the coming years.
